Essential requirements
3 years + relevant experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within the engineering / manufacturing industry
Experience with any electrical design package
Ability to generate concise unambiguous designs / reports
Leadership experience would be ideal but not essential

The Role
This position will be a Senior position working very closely with the Engineering Manager leading from the front taking on the responsibility for all electrical design tasks varying from producing designs and detailed drawings to providing electrical design support in process improvements etc. This will be an expanding position where the client will be looking to utilise your experience and offer progression opportunities.
Supporting the Engineering Manager to deliver all electrical and electronic requirements for projects (schematics, wiring diagrams, test plans, boM’s, PCB layouts etc.)
Generating and issuing production drawings
Configure and program different types of electronic equipment / systems such as servo control systems, displays and PLC’s
Design of PCB, prototyping and test
Perform and participate design reviews / providing technical support to production
Designing composite mouldings, castings and other mechanical piece parts to meet the product requirements in the most cost-effective way
Delivering timely and accurate electrical design drawings and documentation to support production and procurement functions
