Are you an Automation Engineer / looking for a position within a true, first of a kind manufacturer of large scale process machinery? If so, we are seeking an Automation Engineer on a permanent basis for company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of bespoke process machinery for a variety of sectors to join their team.

Essential Requirements / Experience:
Must be an experienced EC& I / Software Design professional
Must have an engineering / manufacturing background
The successful person will Need to be familiar with one of the following:
Electrical switchgear / motor control design to EN60204, Process Instrumentation, Siemens TIA PLC programming using LAD/STL, Siemens Step 7 PLC Programming using LAD/STL, Siemens TIA HMI configuration, Siemens WinCC, Flexible HMI configuration, Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs, etc.

Automation Engineer / Automation Support Engineer
The Role
As an Automation Engineer you will be accountable for working in small team to support the Projects Group - duties include;
Provide technical support to our existing global customer base for all bespoke equipment. We need someone to use there expertise to help to ensure our customer’s equipment will be back in working order quickly. Support will be provided to our customers remotely so therefore require excellence in fault finding in both EC&I and software systems as well as an attention to detail.
Remote customer support and fixes on automation software issues using PLC, HMI, SCADA and PC systems. - providing technical advice for upgrading equipment - providing technical quotations for upgrading of equipment
