Proposals Engineer

Are you an experienced Proposals Engineer with strong electrical bias background? A friendly organisation that has recently been taken over and are looking to be even stronger in their field and take on experienced people to further boost their teams.

If so, we are seeking a Proposals Engineer on a permanent basis for a company with nearly 40 years in their industry. To take on a challenging, varied role within a close-knit team.

Proposals Engineer - Essential Requirements / Experience:

  • Proven Proposals Engineer skills with an electrical engineering background for 3+ years

  • You must be willing to travel for this role due to required travel between two locations, working different products.

  • The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly at all levels on both Commercial and Technical issues.

  • A candidate who is happy to work with varied products on a day-to-day basis.

  • You must have a Solid understanding of a project life cycle.

  • IT literate, including Microsoft Office programmes.

Proposals Engineer - The Role

  • You will provide application and pricing support to direct end-users and indirect sales channels for the range of the company’s products and integration systems.

  • You are responsible for the production of quotations in line with the internal quotation procedures.

  • You will utilise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to develop and track sales pipeline.

  • You must be able to work with varied products on a day-to-day basis.

  • Provide technical expertise to customers / prospects and support the Sales Engineers/Sales Lead in client meetings
