Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer x2 Are you a Field Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer with experience working with high speed machinery / capital equipment / bespoke machinery? Are you looking for a position within a true, first of a kind manufacturer of large scale automation machinery? If so we are seeking 2x Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineers on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of bespoke process machinery for the Pharmaceutical, Health Care and Food and Beverage sectors to join their team.
Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer x2 Essential Requirements / Experience:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years within a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Commissioning Engineer position – responsible for installations, commissioning and troubleshooting on precision equipment
This person must be a good communicator that is able to build and maintain customer relationships
This will suit either an Electrical or Mechanical bias background, ideally an appreciation for each
Must have a strong precision equipment / machinery servicing background, ideally Pharmaceutical, Food, Packaging, Highspeed Machinery, Bespoke Equipment etc.
Must be willing to be based away near Birmingham for 8-12 weeks for training period and the travel to the USA on the odd occasion

Competitive annual salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
8-12 week training programme based at head office near Birmingham
All expenses covered when travelling (company debit card)

Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer x2 The Role
As a Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of bespoke process machinery for a major customer based just outside of Hertford at their site, acting as the face of the company
Initial training will be at the head office just outside of Birmingham for 8-12 weeks to learn the machines before working at one specific customer site based in Hertford
There will also be the odd occasional travel to the USA a few times a year on machinery for customers but will predominantly be UK based in Hertford
As this role will be based at a customer site, we are looking for a strong communicator who can liaise back to engineers in the head office on fault finding issues, future improvements etc.
