Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager / Automation Manager that has strong people management skills? If so, we are seeking a Technical Project Manager / Automation Manager on a permanent basis for company that are market leading, global design and manufacturer of industrial automation equipment to lead a team of multi-disciplined engineers.

Essential Requirements / Experience:

  • The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills / proven experience leading and driving a team

  • Must have a strong electrical engineering background

  • Strong customer facing skills with the ability to develop valuable relationships with customers

  • This person will have a good background / strong practical experience working on electrical panels / control panels / control systems (Overall a good understanding of electrical control panel/system manufacturing)

Technical Project Manager / Automation Manager (Head of Department) Salary Package:

  • Competitive annual salary between £48,000k - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

  • Annual Bonus

  • Pension Scheme

  • Based near Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Stratford-upon Avon

Technical Project Manager / Automation Manager (Head of Department) The Role

  • As a Technical Project Manager / Automation Manager you will be responsible for the strategic development, new product introduction (NPI / NPD), R&D of automation products and electrical control panels

  • We are looking for someone that can provide solutions to customers and successfully deliver projects within agreed time scale and in budget

  • You will be looking after a team of circa 5 engineering covering electrical design, electrical and also one mechanical engineer

  • Project management from initial customer requirement through to hand over with the customer (Covering design, development and build)
