Are you an experienced Senior Quality Engineer looking for a new challenging opportunity on a permanent basis for a growing company who manufacture specialised turned parts for several different materials including Plastics, woods, and composite materials to several highly regulated industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Medical and many more.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with Technical expertise, leadership, and quality management skills to progress into a Quality Manager position within the next few years.


Senior Quality Engineer
Essential Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a Quality position with a Mechanical Engineering background

  • Familiar with Quality Tools – Continuous Improvement, APQP, Corrective Actions etc

  • Auditing experience is required

  • Knowledge of Quality standards IATF 16949, ISO9001, APQP, PPAP, ISO14001 etc

  • Strong Customer Focus


Senior Quality Engineer
Salary Package:

  • Competitive Annual Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

  • Bonus paid out every 6 months

  • Progression to Quality Manager within the next 3 years

  • Travel Allowance

  • Early finish Fridays

  • Based near Coventry, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Royal Leamington Spa


Senior Quality Engineer
The Role:

  • Support all quality and engineering issues including customer, Internal and supplier needs.

  • Project manage product quality and engineering requirements through ISIR, capability studies, and MSA to support NPI, APQP, and PPAP.

  • Specify project management, manufacture, and testing equipment to meet quality requirements, including the design of gauges.

  • Lead the team in preparing Control Plans and supporting PFMEA reviews as needed. Document the output using the necessary systems defined in NPI, APQP, PPAP, and company/customer procedures.

  • To take responsibility for recording, progressing, responding and closeout of customer concerns utilising 8D or other problem-solving techniques as required

  • Responsible for managing and reporting customer specific KPIs on reject PPM, CAR performance, and day-to-day graphs.

  • Manage internal and external audits i.e., BSI – development and training will be available if not already Auditor trained.
